Sydney is home to a medley of fine cafes nestled away in every suburb.
However, like any precious metal or glittering diamond they aren’t always easy to find. That’s why we at The Coffee Gang began our search for our very own treasure hunter, a man with a discerning palate and delectable taste to seek out the crème de la crème of café culture and share his discoveries.
Our search led us to one man that stood out amongst all others, we’re proud to introduce...

If you have ever partied too hard while out in the eastern suburbs, then there is a good chance you know where St Vincent's Hospital is. There have been a few occasions when this has happened to me and I have found that the best medicine can be found at this tiny cafe on Boundary Street. Cherubini Cafe must be good -- even the doctors get their remedy from here.
The staff are welcoming and the owner, David Schneider, runs through a list of simple but delicious breakfast options. A few of their standouts are their fantastic Crêpes offered only on the weekend menu. They also have an amazing range of sandwiches and salads. But there are many more options if you prefer a lighter snack.
Cherubini Espresso Bar is located: 85 Boundary Street, Cnr of Ice Street, just behind St Vincent's Hospital.
